Fashion Reimagined
28 June—2 July 2026
Rāpaki Marae, Banks Peninsula, Ōtautahi
With a call for urgency, agency and action, this programme recognises the necessity for more ethical and sustainable fashion futures, where people and planet are not compromised by a desire for profit. Fashion Reimagined seeks to challenge and expand participants thinking on the critical issues faced within the industry. The programme aims to inspire leadership and empower students in becoming ambassadors of positive change.
The Fashion Reimagined programme is held over 5 days at Rāpaki Marae, Banks Peninsula, Ōtautahi. Students learn from industry professionals, fashion educators and Untouched World Foundation Sustainable Leadership Facilitators to develop critical thinking on the ethics of the fashion industry, unpack problems and issues, and explore solutions and opportunities for change. Participants are taught skills to develop confidence and resilience, to best prepare them for the realities of the fashion industry and the situations they may face. Participants are empowered to stand true to their values and advocate for a more fair and sustainable fashion future. All the while, students will get to enjoy the beautiful surroundings of Kamau Taurua, and contribute to the regeneration project there.
Programme Costs & Accessibility
We are committed to making our programmes accessible to rangatahi from all walks of life.
To help us grow our reach and continue offering high-impact experiences to rangitahi throughout Aotearoa, we now offer two pathways to participate:
Cora Wilding Scholarship Positions (Fully Funded)
These positions cover the full cost of the programme, thanks to the generous support of our funders and partners.
Scholarship recipients are asked to offer a reciprocal contribution (such as a social media engagement, reflection, creative piece, or community action) to honour the investment made in them.
Fee-Based Positions (Partially Funded)
These positions are partially subsidised, with participants or their supporters (e.g. whānau, school, workplace, or community group) covering the remaining cost of $600 per participant.
This option supports us in extending opportunities to even more young people while keeping our kaupapa sustainable.
We encourage you to apply for the option that best reflects your situation. If you are able to pay or raise your own funds, we appreciate your contribution. If you require full support, please apply for a scholarship — we’re here to support you.
